• Booking: A booking is confirmed when you authorize us in writing (including electronically) and provide required details. We act as a licensed broker to arrange transportation with a qualified, insured carrier.
• Payments: You agree to provide accurate payment information. Charges may include broker fees and carrier fees. Taxes, surcharges, and additional services (e.g., enclosed transport, expedited pickup, winch service) may apply.
• Price Adjustments: Certain add-ons or accessorials (e.g., expedited pickup or specialty vehicle handling) may result in additional charges when selected or required.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• You may cancel prior to a carrier being dispatched for a full refund of any broker fee collected by us.
• If a carrier has been dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply to cover logistics and carrier costs. If the vehicle is in transit, refunds are generally not available.
• No-shows, inaccurate information, or vehicle inoperability may result in additional fees or cancellation at the carrier’s discretion.

7. Vehicle Preparation and Personal Items

• Vehicles must be operable unless otherwise disclosed. If inoperable, you must notify us in advance so appropriate equipment can be arranged (additional fees may apply).
• You are responsible for securing or removing accessories and loose items. Personal items inside the vehicle are generally discouraged and may not be covered by carrier cargo insurance.
• Keep fuel to approximately 1/4 tank and provide one set of keys.

8. Pickup, Delivery, and Delays

• Pickup and delivery are typically door-to-door where accessible and permitted. If local restrictions or access prevent door service, the driver may arrange a nearby safe meeting location.
• Estimated pickup and delivery windows are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, regulations, or other factors beyond our or the carrier’s control.
• We are not liable for consequential damages arising from delays.

9. Condition Reports and Claims

• At pickup and delivery, you or your representative should inspect the vehicle with the driver and note any exceptions on the Bill of Lading (BOL). Signing the BOL without exceptions may waive certain claims.
• In the event of damage, note it on the delivery BOL and obtain the driver’s signature. Contact the carrier promptly to initiate a claim under their cargo insurance. We can assist with carrier details but do not adjudicate claims.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Book Auto Transport will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the website or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Insurance

We arrange transportation with carriers that represent they maintain active authority and appropriate insurance. Coverage terms, limits, exclusions, and deductibles are determined by the carrier’s policy. Personal items, aftermarket parts, and prior damage are typically excluded. You may procure additional coverage at your option.

12. Communications Consent (Calls, SMS, and Email)

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive calls, texts (including via autodialer), and emails regarding quotes, bookings, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time; transactional messages related to your shipment may still be sent.

13. Privacy Policy

Your use of the website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website or services if you violate these Terms or for other legitimate reasons. You may terminate your account (if applicable) by contacting us.
